Over the years, I have taught many different art techniques to newcomers and advanced artists alike. Sharing art ideas and methods are an important part of learning about art.
Painting the first lines on silk are a commitment, yet with time, lots of patience and practicing, painting with resist will become smooth and your designs will be clearly detailed. Brilliant dyes will flow smoothly, creating continuous blending with brushing strokes. As rich shimmering colors of dye seep deep into the fibers of your silk fabric you will feel the beauty of the art.
